FORMED SULFUR (PASTILLE)
FORMED SULFUR (PASTILLE) is a chemical product and Arena Petro Gas is in position to supply and export it directly from KHANGIRAN GAS REFINING - ILAM GAS REFINING through its trading services according to the following specification and technical properties.
Lump sulfur is a yellow, brittle mineral that is extracted from natural gas or petroleum refining processes. It has various uses and applications in different industries, such as chemical, agricultural, rubber, and textile. One of the main uses of lump sulfur is to produce sulfuric acid, which is an essential raw material for many chemical and industrial processes, especially the manufacture of phosphate fertilizers. Phosphate fertilizers are the single largest end use for sulfur, accounting for about 50% of the world's sulfur production. Sulfur is also used as a vulcanizer in the rubber industry, as well as a component of synthetic fibers (caprolactams) and cosmetics.
The technical specifications of lump sulfur may vary depending on the source and the refining method, but generally it should have a high purity (above 99.5%), low moisture content (below 0.5%), low ash content (below 0.1%), and low acidity (below 0.02%). The size and shape of lump sulfur may also differ, ranging from crushed, coarse-grained, or prilled forms. Some of the major producers and consumers of lump sulfur are located in the Middle East, Asia, and Eastern Europe.
